All bathrooms are shared and breakfast is included in the total price. Additionally, each room comes with a television. The young proprietor of this establishment is a charismatic and outgoing Italian man who keeps a close eye on maintaining his B&B, always ready to lend a helping hand like in the old days. The restaurant just below is also owned by him and offers a 10% discount to all his guests. This Bed & Breakfast is located in an area filled with restaurants, pubs and shops of all kinds where the guest may find almost anything. More specifically, the establishment is located between the Porta Pia and the Piazza Barberini, very close to the Roma Termini train station where transportation may be found to any part of the city. This ideal location makes it possible to enjoy the historic centre of the Eternal City where one may visit the grandiose and somewhat imposing Coliseum and the Foro Italico, to name a few. We really enjoyed our stay in the B&B. Emiliano gave us a really good welcome and usefull tips to visit the city. He owns the restaurant downstairs where the food is really nice and not expensive. It is well located (10 min walk to the termini station). We would definitly advise it and go back again |

Very good location, near to Train Station and good to reach the city. Friendly Owner. Great Deal for the Price of 35 Euro. Bathroom could be cleaner, but for italian condition good. |

Das B&B liegt ca. 10 Gehminuten von der Statione Termini entfernt in einer guten Wohngegend.
Wir wurden aufs Wärmste begrüßt und erhielten gleich eine freundliche Einweisung in die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Ein ruhiger Flur führt zu den drei freundlich gestalteten Zimmern. Diese sind gut ausgestattet (sogar Fernseher vorhanden), alles ist sauber. Drei Doppelzimmer teilen sich ein Bad und zwei Toiletten. Während unseres Aufenthalts gab es keinerlei „Staus“, wir haben nicht einmal groß wahrgenommen, dass wir das Bad mit anderen teilen.
Die Raumtemperatur blieb auch ohne Klimaanlage im gut erträglichen Bereich, obwohl es draußen 35 Grad hatte. Ein Ventilator ist vorhanden.
Bei der Via Castelfidardo handelt es sich um eine einspurig befahrene Einbahnstraße aus Kopfsteinpflaster mit schwachem bis mäßigem Verkehr. Die Zimmer liegen im Hochparterre zu einer kleinen kaum befahrenen Seitenstraße hin, sodass der Verkehr nur von der Seite her zu den Zimmern dringt. Nachts wird es ruhig, der morgentliche Berufsverkehr ist aber deutlich. Für römische Verhältnisse liegt das Haus wirklich ruhig, Ohropax dabei zu haben hat sich bewährt.
Das italienische Frühstück (Kaffee nach Wahl und ein süßes Teilchen) gibt es in der nahe gelegenen Bar. Die Familie betreibt gleich nebenan ein italienisches Restaurant, wo man hervorragend essen kann. (Am besten man lässt sich von der „Mama“ etwas empfehlen!)
In der nahegelegenen Via Montebello gibt es jeden Morgen einen kleinen Markt, auf dem man sich günstig mit Obst versorgen kann.
Wir waren mit dieser Unterkunft sehr zufrieden und finden, dass Placidi Giorni ein richtig guter Tipp ist!

l'alloggio è ubicato in posizione eccellente, 5 minuti a piedi da termini e da piazza Reppublica. Il quartiere è sicurissimo e pulito.
Emiliano, il gestore, e la sua famiglia, sono persone eccezionali e gestiscono anche un ristorante pizzeria,adiacente agli alloggi.La qualità della pizza e dei piatti preparati è ottima. é un posto sicuramente da consigliare.
